Demand-responsive mobility for low-density regions

Choice-driven dial-a-ride extended to rural and peri-urban service design, where matching is sparse and behaviour drives viability.

We study how service-design choices — fares, detours, waiting — shape the demand a demand-responsive system actually receives, and feed that behaviour back into the matching and routing so the operation stays viable where density is low.
